The Asian Pacific State Employees Association Foundation was founded in 1999 by a small but visionary group of Asian Pacific American state government and legislative staff who felt a need to support the education and career development of state government workers in addition to helping students pursuing college education in the greater Sacramento area.
APSEA Foundation provides funding to the Asian Pacific State Employees Association, a 501(c)(4), which focuses on providing state government professionals and students with leadership skills and mentoring for advancement.
The mission of the organization is to grant Capitol internships and college scholarships to students, in addition to organizing seminars and conferences that promotes the personal and professional development of Asian Pacific American state government workers and others.
