The Asian Pacific State Employees Association Foundation was established in 1999 as a 501(c)(3) federal tax-exempt charitable entity to support the educational and career development of state government employees and students. Our mission is to support and advance the education and cultural heritage of America’s diverse communities.
Annually, we award several scholarships to local high school seniors who pursue a post-secondary education. Our funding has come from the generosity of private and corporate donors and annual fundraisers. Past and current sponsors of the scholarship program include Asian Pacific Rim Foundation, Chinese American Council of Sacramento, Filipino-American State Employees Association/Filipino community of Sacramento and Vicinity, Union Bank of California, Ronald McDonald House Charities, and other community organizations.
